Cllr Paul McAuliffe has welcomed the recent announcement by Glasnevin Trust who have received a 2015 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award.
Cllr Paul McaAuliffe, Leader of the Fianna Fáil Group in Dublin City said “We are so lucky to have a national tourism and heritage treasure located at the heart of the Dublin 9 &11 community. Anyone who have taken the tour or visited the restaurant will attest to a really great quality experience and as a local Public Representative I am always delighted to support the Trust. As we head in to 2016 Fianna Fail will be holding a number of commemorations to honour of O’Donovan Rossa, Eamon DeValera and Cathal Bruagh and the many others who fought for Irish freedom, Not only is Glasnevin the resting place of these great leaders but it is also driving economic activity and job creation.
The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Establishments awarded the Certificate of Excellence are located all over the world and represent the upper echelon of businesses listed on the website.
When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honorees that takes into account reviews ratings. Businesses must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, volume and recency of reviews. Additional criteria include a business’ tenure and popularity ranking on the site.
According to Glasnevin Trust “Winning the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is a true source of pride for the entire team at Glasnevin Cemetery Museum and we’d like to thank all of our past guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor.”
